Business lender moving into Bessemer’s Downtown Entrepreneurial Center.

LiftFund (www.liftfund.com) will relocate its Alabama office from Birmingham to Bessemer in November of 2016. The mission of LiftFund is to provide credit and services to small businesses and entrepreneurs who do not have access to loans from commercial sources and to provide leadership and innovation to the microlending industry.

Community Microlenders
LiftFund is a designated community development financial institution (CDFI) and its purpose is to empower clients to start their own economic paths by providing them with access to capital (micro-lending) and business advice. The organization serves thirteen (13) states throughout the southern part of the United States with the maximum loan size of $500,000. CDFI loans finance community businesses, including small businesses, microenterprises, nonprofit organizations, commercial real estate and affordable housing.
